The attention of the Graduates and Undergraduates is called to the following:
1. The Harvard Union will be open to visitors for inspection on Class Day, June 21, and on Commencement Day, June 26.
Applications an subscriptions for membership will be received by a committee in the office of the Union on Class Day between the hours of 12 and 5 and on Commencement Day from 10 to 2 and from 3 to 6.
2. The Membership is of four kinds:
(a) Active Members.--Any member or past member of Harvard University is eligible to active membership, upon his making application in writing to the Secretary, Treasurer or Membership Committee.
(b) Associate Members. Officers and past members of Harvard University residing within twenty-five miles of Cambridge, and students in the departments of the University located outside of Cambridge, may become associate members, unless they wish to vote, in which case they must become active members.
(c) Non-Resident Members. All members or past members of Harvard University residing more than twenty-five miles from Cambridge may become non-resident members.
(d) Life Members. Past members and all officers of Harvard University may become life members on payment of fifty dollars; students may become life members on payment of seventy-five dollars.
3. The annual dues for an active member shall not exceed ten dollars, the exact amount to be fixed by the House Committee, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees; for an associate member, the annual dues shall be five dollars; for a non-resident member, three dollars.
During the first year (1901-2) all resident members of the Union shall pay an admission fee of five dollars, and the Trustees shall have the right to demand dues of these members later in the year, not exceeding five dollars.
All are urged to join at once because money is needed during the summer. In applying for membership every man will kindly give his full name, class and complete address.
