BALTIMORE, May 6.--The lacrosse team was defeated by Johns Hopkins at Baltimore by the score of 4 to 0. The Harvard team was much handicapped by the poor condition of the field and her attack was weak. In the second half, however, Harvard played a plucky, agressive game, Sever and Wynne doing especially good work. Guggenheimer stopped many tries for goal, but the team was unable to score against Hopkin's defense.
