Harold Allen Rich, of the Sophomore Class, died early yesterday morning at the Cambridge Hospital as a result of injuries received Monday in a fall from his window in Weld Hall. Born at Fall River in 1881, he entered Harvard from Exeter in the fall of 1899. At Exeter he ranked unusually high in his work, and during his one year there was an honor man for all three terms. He was a member of the Golden Branch, an old debating organization at that school. After entering Harvard he showed much interest and ability in this line, and was prominent as a debater in his class club. His death is felt very deeply by those who knew him personally, and by many more who knew of him.
The funeral will be held in Appleton Chapel, probably some time tomorrow.
