The written examination for candidates for the Ricardo Scholarship for 1901-1902 will be held on Saturday morning, May 18, at 10 o'clock in University 23. Candidates must hand a tatment of their previous studies to Professor F. W. Taussig not later than May 15.
The examination will require no special preparation as each candidate will write an ssay on a topic chosen by himself, from a list not previously announced, in economics and political science. The award will be made not later than June 15, and will be based on the ability and promise of the candidates, without regard to their pecuniary means.
