To the Editors of the Crimson:
The matter of the disposition of the "Old Bell" has lately been dropped and those of us who subscribed for it have not received accurate information as to how the matter stands at present. If it is true, as has been suggested, that the bell is not really an old one, would it not be better for the Memorial Society to present the fund to the Union some other College organization rather than spend it on a useless relic of no value? Probably all of those who subscribed for the bell would be willing to have the money used for some other purpose, but there are doubtless many others besides myself who would like to have an accurate knowledge of the use the money is to be put to. 1903
