The wet ground prevented the University baseball squad from outdoor work yesterday. In the cage, the pitchers were given light work and all the men batting practice.
Oxford won from Cambridge at golf last Tuesday, by a score of 28 holes to 9. The game was held on the links of the St. George's Golf club, Sandwich, England. Oxford has now won twelve victories and Cambridge ten.
The Athletic Committee has passed a rule that all men going to training tables must pay the same price they have been paying or board during the previous month. No man will be allowed to join the training tables who owes anything to the management for former training table bills.
Next Saturday, Mr. Julian Curtis, chairman of the Harvard-Yale Regatta committee will meet the New London Board of trade and the Harvard and Yale crew managers to talk over the policing of the course and other business connected with the races. Mr. W. P. Henderson of the new "American Henley Regatta" will also be present to represent the interests of that plan.
