The Yale University Lawn Tennis Association has decided to abandon the annual spring interscholastic tournament unless entries are received from at least six schools before April 1.
Sufficient funds have been raised to allow the chess teams of Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Columbia to conduct the international match with Oxford and Cambridge by cable in New York city. The dates of the match have not yet been definitely decided.
Hon. David J. Brewer, LL.D., Association Justice of the United States Supreme Court, will deliver the commemorative address at the Yale bi-centennial celebration which will be held in New Haven next October. Edmund Clarence Stedman, LL.D., will deliver the commemorative poem on the same occasion.
