Fact and Rumor.

The basketball team will play a return game with Princeton in Cambridge on March 25.

It has been decided by the executive committee of the Intercollegiate Lawn Tennis Association to hold the annual tournament in Philadelphia during the week of October 1, 1901.

The Princeton team which will debate against Yale has been finally chosen, and is made up of W. E. Hope '01, R. S. Steen '01 and A. J. Byles '03. A. S. Weston '00, F. Frost '01, R. F. Pitcairn '01 and J. G. Sims '02 constitute the substitute team.

The Athletic Council of Cornell University has appealed to the Cornell Alumni for money to be devoted to permanent improvents in the athletic equipment. The undergraduates can raise the money for current expenses in athletics, but in addition, $6500 in needed to complete Percy Field for permanent use, and $2000 to build wings to the present boat house, to accommodate the class crews.
