At the first meeting of the Harvard Civil Service Reform Club yesterday evening, it was decided to hold club meetings once a month, and to have at least one public meeting open to all members of the University before the close of the year. At these meetings men prominent in public life will be asked to speak on politics and good government. A committee was appointed to consider the question of changing the name of the club.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: J. B. Trevor '02, president; W. P. Wharton '03, vice-president; S. N. Hinckley '05, secretary; A. Forbes '04 and R. A. Derby '05, executive committee.
