Freshman Football Practice.

Nearly every fault of which a football team is capable was shown in the Freshman football practice yesterday afternoon. Offside playing was added to the fumbling which was so prevalent the day before, and an entire absence of team work helped to make this one of the most discouraging exhibitions the team has given this fall. By greater weight and a few fairly good plays, however, the first team was able to score three touchdowns. The second eleven showed far more snap and aggressiveness and several times h d the ball within twenty yards of the first's goal line. Well executed trick plays were the means of a number of the second team's gains. The first eleven made most of their advances on plunges just outside of tackle.
