Fumbling and poorly formed interference marred the Freshman football practice yesterday afternoon. Except for a few well-executed end runs and line plays which resulted in their only touchdown, the first eleven were outplayed by the second and were defeated by the score of 10 to 5. The second term frequently broke through the line and threw the runner before he was fairly started. The tackling was poor, and the quick playing and good team work which were so encouraging at the last practice were almost entirely lacking, and the men seemed to depend wholly on individual effort. The second eleven's winning score was made on a drop kick by Wheeler from the 25 yard line after his long run from the other end of the field.
