The second day of play in the Intercollegiate Tennis tournament resulted in favor of Princeton. J. A. Roche '03 lost his match in singles, but J. A. Roche '03 lost his match in singles, but J. A. Roche '03 and W. P. Blagden '04, in doubles, won Harvard's only victory.

Doubles--H. A. Plummer and S. L. Russell, Y., beat E. W. Leonard '03 and W. S. Warland '03, 6-5, 6-4; W. P. Blagden '04 and J. A. Roche '03 beat H. A. Galpin and S. B. Condiet, Y., 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.
Semi-finals singles--S. D. Alexander, P., beat E. L. Mann, C., 6-1, 6-3.
