The Pierian Sodality has planned a larger number of concerts than usual for the coming season. A joint concert with the musical clubs of Brown University will in all probability be given on December 13. In addition, there will be concerts in various places near Boston, such as Haverhill, Worcester, Taunton and Fall River; and the usual concerts at clubs in the vicinity.
The first of the regular concerts in Sanders Theatre will take place on December 3; the second probably on March 4; and the third on May 13.
The Pierian chorus has now been rehearsing for two weeks, but the men have not yet been definitely chosen, and further trials will soon be held. Sixty men are now playing in the orchestra. Any men who wish to try for position should notify F. F. Collier, 12 Oxford street.
