The Newell graded crews rowed Saturday in practically unchanged orders. Brownell coached the first from the "John Harvard," as Vail had not yet returned. At the Weld, the graded crews did not row.
Five Newell Freshman crews went out, and were coached by Jackson and Smith. From the Weld, the first and second Freshmen rowed, under the coaching of Wray and Francis.
