The results of the first round of the Intercollegiate Tennis tournament, which is being held on the courts of the Haverford Cricket Club, Philadelphia, are given below. For Harvard, J. A. Roche '03 won his match in the singles, and Roche and W. P. Blagden '04 won in the doubles.

Doubles -- Blagden and Roche, Harvard, beat Alexander and Ogden, Princeton, 6-2, 6-1; Plummer and Russell, Yale, beat Schafer and Wright, Princeton, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4; Galpin and Condict, Yale, beat Col et and Wood, U. of P., 9-7, 6-4.
