At a recent meeting of the Yale Field Corporation it was decided to offer the President and Fellows of Yale University the title to the Yale Field. If the transfer is affected the Field Corporation will go out of existence, and the field will be in charge of a committee composed of Walter Camp and members of the Faculty.
The annual report of the Field Corporation for the year ending October 1 was announced yesterday. It gives the receipts as follows: From the financial union, $17,500; from university subscription loans, $5,750, and subscriptions to grandstand, $8119, a total of $13,369; cash on hand in 1900, $494.64; total, $31,863.64. The expenditures were: For the new grandstand, $11,800.69; balance university loan, $6250.15; additional stands and repairs, $5933.72; general repairs, $5901.84; superintendent, $600; interest, $314.38; insurance, $395; water, $80; taxes, $554.50; total, $31,830.34; cash on hand, $83.30.
The following nine men have been elected to form the Junior Promenade Committee: A. R. Lamb, C. J. Hamlin, F. W. Wilhelmi, C. R. Auchincloss, C. L. DuVal, J. W. Reynolds, J. R. Robinson, H. A. Plummer, J. B. Thomas, Jr.
The statistics of the academic department, made up from the preliminary list show a gain of fifty-one over last year. In comparison with last year's figures they are as follows: The registration in the Sheffield Scientific School is as follows:
