Rifle and Pistol Club.

The Rifle and Pistol Club is making arrangements for a series of inter-class and outside shoots which will begin just after the mid-years. On February 15 there will be a match with Light Battery A of Boston in which the contestants will use both Smith and Wesson and Colt revolvers, ten shots at a time.

There will also be a series of rifle, pistol and revolver shoots for class cups. These will be competed for under the same conditions as the matches of the Massachusetts Rifle Association at Walnut Hill. In addition to these, two cups are offered, one for pistol and one for rifle, for the five high at scores made at any time during the year. From now until the April recess there will be reentering matches in pistol and rifle shoots. These matches are to be scratch with the rifle and handicap with the pistol.
