GERMAN PLAY TONIGHT.

Lessing's "Minna von Barnhelm" to be Given in Sanders Theatre at 7.45.

Lessing's "Minna von Barnhelm" will be presented by Mr. Heinrich Conreid's Irving Place Theatre Company in Sanders Theatre this evening at 7.45. under the auspices of the Deutscher Verein. The cast will be as follows: Major von Tellheim, a retired officer,  Carl Emmerich. Minna von Barnhelm,  Hedwig Lange. Franziska, her maid,  Marie Eisenhut. Just, servant of the major,  Franz Kierschner. Paul Werner, former sergeant to the major  Otto Ottbert. Landlord,  Max Haenseler. A Lady in mourning,  Marie Kierschner. An Orderly,  Hermann Korn. Riccaut de la Marliniere,  Georg Baselt. Servant,  Carl Fischer.

The musical programme to be rendered by the Pierian Sodality comprises the following numbers: 1.  Overture to the "Magic Flute,"  Mozart. 2.  a. Entreacte from "Alceste,"  Gluck. b. Minuet from the fourth Symphony,  Haydn. 3.  Gavotte from "Alceste,"  Gluck. 4.  Priests' March from "Alceste,"  Gluck. 5.  Entreacte from "Alceste,"  Gluck. 6.  Festal March from "Alceste,"  Gluck.

The performance will begin punctually at 7.45 and will end at about 10.30. The carriage entrance is on Kirkland street. Opportunity will be provided for checking coats and wraps.

A few tickets for the play are still on sale at Sever's. All tickets which remain unsold after five o'clock will be sold at Sanders, at the following prices: Floor and first gallery, $2.00; second gallery, 1.00; admission, 50 cents.
