The number of volumes in the Law School library has increased during the present year from a total of about 47,000 volumes to about 54,000 volumes.

The Brown chapter of the society of Sigma Chi has been established to take a place among students of science similar to that held by the Phi Beta Kappa among students for the degree of Bachelor of Arts.

Stone's School won the interscholastic races on the Charles yesterday afternoon in the record-breaking time of 5 minutes 49 seconds. Brookline High School was one-third of a length behind, followed at the same distance by Hopkinson, which led Noble and Greenough's by one length.
