The launch has thus far proved entirely satisfactory. Her engines are now running smoothly, and no more trouble from the self-oiling mechanism is to be apprehended. The special feature about her which pleases the rowing men is the small wake she leaves. This has been shown to be distinctly less than that of the "Frank Thomson," and consequently the crews do not suffer so much from the swell. The launch will be taken down to Lawley's today, where the name "John Harvard" will be painted on her stern.
