The tenth annual tournament for the Harvard Interscholastic Lawn Tennis Championship in singles will be held on Jarvis Field on Saturday and Monday, April 28 and 30. The entrance fee will be one dollar and the annual dues from each school five dollars. First and runner-up prizes will be given and a championship shield will be awarded to the school winning the greatest number of points, each match won counting one point. The winner of the tournament will be entitled, as Harvard Interscholastic Champion for 1900, to play at Newport in August for the Interscholastic Championship of the United States. All entries should be made to S. P. Ware, 48 Mt. Auburn street. Entries will close at 6 p. m., April 27. In case of rain on April 28, the tournament will be played on the next pleasant Saturday. The details of the College tournament have not yet been decided upon, but it will be held during the middle of May.
The Tennis Association has elected the following officers for the coming year: President, H. McK. Jones '01; vice-president, C. W. Moore '01; secretary and treasurer, S. P. Ware '02; senior director, M. Bartlett '01; junior director, S. P. Ware '02; sophomore director, B. C. Wright '03.
