The Freshman debate last night was won by G. B. Clark, G. H. Fernald and S. A. Greeley who supported the affirmative. The subject for next week's debate will be "Resolved, That labor unions are a benefit to the laboring classes. Affirmative, E. D. Petersen, E. Littig and P. P. Merrill; negative, H.B. Wells, L. E. Moore and H.P. Williams.
It was decided to divide the club into two camps which will be captained by A. E. Lunt and A. Black. Each camp will have three principal speakers at each debate.
