The work of the University baseball squad continued yesterday as usual. Base-running was given careful attention, and Hamilton of the Boston team, who is to coach the Varsity in that department, was present for the first time W. Breckinridge, the professional, was in the cage assisting in the coaching. Practice in sliding bases will be begun as soon as the condition of the ground permits.
Fort-two me reported for the first Freshman baseball practice and were given a little light work in the cage.
