Freshman Debate

The question for debate at the regular meeting of the Freshman Debating Club last night was "Resolved, That capital punishment should be abolished." The decision was won by the affirmative, supported by J. S. Leopold, D. W. Howes and A. H. Weed. The critic of the evening was H. B. Kirtland '01.

The subject for the next debate on February 26 is: "Resolved, That the Harvard Union be placed on the College House site." The speakers will be: Affirmative--F. R. Dickinson, F. M. Class and H. Bishop; negative--F. O. Butler, F. W. C. Foster and G. L. Chase.
