The number of seats applied for exceeding by over 1500 the seating capacity of Sanders Theatre, the management of the Scandinavian concert have found themselves obliged to make definite restrictions in order to ensure an equitable distribution among those most closely connected with the University. In general it has not been found possible to give more than two seats to others than members of the governing boards and Faculty. The students of the University and of Radcliffe College have been allotted one seat each in order of application, as long as the supply lasted. Except in a few cases of invited guests, among whom are members of the Viking Club of Boston, the applications of those outside of the University, have not been considered. The management regret very much that they have been forced to disappoint so many applicants, especially among the students.
