Singles: W. O. Herrick defeated M. G. Beaman, 6-2, 2-6, 8-6; W. H. Laverack defeated R. A. Bidwell, 6-0, 6-1; S. H. Derby defeated C. L. Cole, 6-4, 6-1; R. Bishop defeated L. E. More, 6-2, 6-3.
Doubles: Kendall and Penhallow defeated Putnam and Rotch, 6-3, 6-4; Leaycraft and Weatherwax defeated Mason and George, by default.
The following matches will be played today.
Singles: At 2.30--S. H. Derby vs. R. Bishop; at 3.00--W. O. Herrick vs. O. J. Ives. Doubles: At 4.00--E. Fischel and Cutter vs. Bidwell and Derby; Bishop and Parker vs. Cole and Beals: W. Fischel and McConnell vs. winner of Laverack and Leonard--Beaman and Goodrich match.
