The Glee Club trials, held on Thursday and Friday, were unusually successful both in the number of the candidates and in the quality of their voices. The number of old men who are still singing with the club made the selection particularly hard. The following men have been retained for further trial:
First tenors--A. M. Smith '02, R. A. Wood '03, N. K. Wilcox '04, W. E. Chapman '02.
Second tenors--H. W. Keene '01, W. L. Wemple, J. R. Howard Jr., '04, P. Dana '04, J. S. Seabury '04, W. P. Price '04, G. Lawton '04.
First basses--A. E. Lunt '03, R. Inglis '03, D. C. Manning '04, C. H. Derby '03, H. G. Dillingham '04, A. B. Baird '04, R. P. Kernan '03.
Second basses.--H. M. Boylston '03, D. Gregg '02, D. D. L. McGrew '03.
