The exhibit of the Peabody Museum in the Paris Exposition will not contain any specimens, but will show rather the work of the museum. There will be a series of photographs of the rooms and specimen cases, and a series of bromide enlargements showing the explorations in the field. The latter group, which will show the explorations as they are conducted, will cover the excavations of the ruins of Yucatan and Central America and the mounds and burial places in portions of the United States and Central America.
The exhibit will furthermore contain samples of the publications of the museum, an explanation of the system used in exhibiting and labelling specimens, and a general synopsis of the instruction given in the department.
