At the meeting of the Sophomore Debating Club held last night, the question: "Resolved, That the tendency to trusts and combinations should be welcomed," was decided in favor of the negative, supported by H. DeBray, R. C. Bruce and E. Bernbaum.
The next meeting will be held November 7. The question will be "Resolved, That the policy of the administration in the Philippines should be supported" DeBray's camp has the affirmative and Letchworth's the negative.
On Tuesday, November 14, the question will be "Resolved, "That the peace conference held at the Hague was a failure." DeBray's camp has the affirmative and Letchworth's the negative.
