The fall tennis tournament has now reached the third round of the singles. There are more entries in both doubles and singles than there have been for a number of years. The number of single entries is forty-eight, and the number of double entries is thirty-four, or seventeen pairs. Championship medals will be given this year as usual.
The following single matches will be played today at the time indicated:
Scott vs. Derby, 4.15.
Rand vs. Morley, 2.
Palmer vs. C. M. Rotch, 2.45.
Foster vs. Bidwell, 4.
Ward vs. winner of Rand-Morley match, 3.15.
The first four matches of the doubles will be played today in the following order:
Bartlett and Brice vs. Lang and Bowdoin, 2.15.
Wilder and Chessman vs. Wight and Partridge, 3.45.
Palmer and Drinkwater vs. Thacher and Gray, 4.
Ward and Davis vs. Draper and Rice, 4.15.
