Two intercollegiate records were broken in the annual games of the University of Pennsylvania. W. P. Remington jumped 23 ft. 4 1-2 in. in the running broad jump. The record is 22 ft. 11 1-4 in. J. C. McCracken threw the hammer 139 ft. 9 in., breaking the record by 3 ft. 6 in.
The Yale 'varsity crew has been considerably shaken up during the last week as a result of Grenleaf's leaving the boat with water on the knee. The make up now is with two exceptions the same as last year's freshman boat. It is: Stroke, Williams; 7, Niedecken; 6, Allen; 5, Cross; 4, Flint; 3, Brock; 2, Wickes; bow, Whitney.
