Yesterday afternoon the 'Varsity nine had a few minutes of batting practice with Mr. Lewis in the box.
Then an eight inning game was played with the College nine, which the 'Varsity won by the score of 9 to 6. The 'Varsity again showed fatal weakness at the bat, and played a listless and erratic game in the field. No good playing was done by either side, and most of the scoring was the direct result of careless fielding and poor throwing.
