and S. G. Ellis 1901 are showing up best in the shot-put, while W. D Hennen '98 and W. A. Boal 1900 are throwing the hammer the farthest.
The dates for the spring games have ben changed. The 'Varsity games will be held on Friday, April 15, and the class games on Saturday, April 30. The first and second, and possibly the third, men in the events in the 'Varsity games will not be allowed to compete in the class games.
The race for the '86 quarter mile cup which was presented to the Athletic Association by S. G. Wells '86 will probably be held on May 6 or 7. This will be a handicap race, the handicaps being arranged by the captain of the team and the trainer; and, in case of a dispute, by the handicapper of the A. A. U. The men who are at the training tables at the time of the race will not be allowed to compete. The cup is to be perpetual, the annual winner to have his name inscribed thereon and to hold the cup for that year.
