Last evening in Sever 11, the Harvard University Debating Club was formally organized. By this action the existence of the Union and the Forum is terminated. The new society will include in its membership all those who were members in good standing of the two former clubs.
A constitution for the club was adopted which is in the main along the lines of the Forum and Union constitutions. The most radical change was in the limitation of the membership after this year to members of the Junior and Senior classes and of the Graduate and professional schools. The weekly debates of the club will be held on Wednesday evenings.
