HARVARD ENGINEERING SOCIETY.- There will be an important meeting of the society at the Colonial Club on Monday evening, March 14, at 7.45 p. m. Lieutenant J. S. Sewell, Corps of Engineers, U. S. A., will speak about the "Handling of heavy weights in the field as illustrated by the mounting of modern guns and carriages."
'99 CREW.- Second crew row at 3.00; Boardman, Thomson and Coleman at 3; others at 3.30.
COLLEGE NINE.- All men whose names are not in the list of the 'Varsity squad practice today at 3.00 o'clock on Soldiers Field with the "College" squad.
FRESHMAN DEBATING CLUB.- There will be a trial for the debate with the Sophomore Debating Club in Sever 11 on Monday, March 14. Ten men are to be selected. Each man will be allowed to speak five minutes. The question is: "Resolved, That a single tax on land is better than the present system of taxation."
LACROSSE.- Practice today on Norton's field at 4 o'clock sharp.
