An athletic record book has been compiled at Amherst including records of all athletic affairs for twenty-five years.

A. Forsyth '96, L. S. S. '98, is temporarily filling the chair of Mineralogy and Metallurgy in the University of Missouri.

Plans for the new physical laboratory at Dartmouth are now complete and work on the superstructure about to be begun.

W. T. Carter, Yale '95, will coach the baseball candidates at Yale with a view to the development at the battery candidates.

It is rumored that a memorial of some sort is to be presented to Coach Courtney of Cornell in recognition of his services in training the Cornell crews. The memorial will probably be a dwelling house in Ithaca.

Professor Robert Herrick, Harvard '90, who occupies the chair of English Literature in the University of Chicago, has written a novel which is to be published shortly by The Macmillan Company under the title of "The Gospel of Freedom."
