Although this brief and general course will be in some measure a comparative study of the writers named, each lecture will be intelligible in itself.
Sets of the novelists have been reserved at the Library, together with volumes of biography, criticism, and other collateral reading.
Each of these lectures will be illustrated with reading from the author discussed, or from some well-known critic.
The lectures will be open to members of the University only.
New Classes in Reading and Speaking.Seniors and Juniors who wish to study reading and speaking with Mr. Copeland, and are not already members of other classes, will present themselves in Sever 17, Monday, Feb. 14, at 2.30 p. m.
Two other new classes, open to all students of the University, will meet on Thursdays,- from 11 to 12, in Sever 14; from 12 to 1, in Sever 18.
