At a business meeting of the Rifle and Revolver Club held last evening, L. G. Coleman '99, was elected president, and W. C. Quinby '99, vice-president. The subject of sending challenges to other colleges was considered, but as it was not definitely known what material was available for a team, the matter was postponed, and left entirely to the discretion of the executive committee.
If enough men turn out, and the shooting is satisfactory, the club intends to enter a team to compete in the various rifle and pistol matches at the New England Sportman's Exhibition to be held in Mechanics Hall in March. Every man at all interested in any branch of rifle shooting is therefore urged to join the club and compete in the practice shoots, one of which takes place at Walnut Hill this afternoon.
