The number of Freshman crew candidates has been cut down only once, and there are still about seventy men left, working in five squads. Each squad is under the charge of a 'Varsity oarsman with two assistants, and Mr. Storrow is present three or four times a week. The candidates have not yet been arranged according to ability and are not rowing in any regular order. They will not go to the tank or be divided into crews until the squad is further cut down.
