The 'Varsity and Freshman crews had their last row on the Charles yesterday afternoon before leaving for Poughkeepsie tonight. A crowd of students collected on the wall beside the boat house and cheered the crews as they rowed short stretches up and down the river. Cheers were also given for Mr. Lehmann. Both crews rowed well and presented a remarkably good appearance.
They take the Fall River boat to New York tonight and go to Poughkeepsie tomorrow by the New York Central. The new Webb boat, the Clasper boat and the Ninety-nine boat were sent to Poughkeepsie yesterday afternoon.
