National Interscholastic Games.

New England won the national interscholastic championship at the games held in New York, Saturday, with a total of 37 points. Long Island was second with 23 points.

With the exception of Mills, of Chauncey Hall, who was unable to run, every member of the New England team won points. Boyce, of the Boston High School, took one first, one second and two thirds. Altogether New England won three firsts, eight seconds and six thirds.

New records were made in the high hurdles, mile walk, quarter-mile run, mile run, running high jump, shot put, hammer throw, and running broad jump.

The New England point-winners and the records in the events were as follows:

At a business meeting of the National Interscholastic Athletic Association, held after the games, H. L. Kennington, of New England, was elected president for the ensuing year.
