The reception afterwards held for Mr. Lehmann by the Union in Memorial Hall was attended by practically all those who had been present at his address, and the hall was completely filled with students. All present had an opportunity of meeting Mr. Lehmann, who was introduced to the students as they filed past by Charles Grilk, '98, the president of the Union.
The object of the meeting in bringing the members of the University together was very successfully effected, and many students availed themselves of the opportunity of meeting some of the men who represent them on the athletic teams.
The performances of the Pierian Sodality, the Banjo, Mandolin and Glee Clubs helped to enliven the evening and were enthusiastically received.
