It is announced that the Beacon cup, for which the class crews formerly contested, will again be offered to the winner of the regular class race. This old silver cup bears the names of winning crews for several years preceding '75, but it has not been competed for since about that date. Mr. R. H. Appleton '75 has had the cup burnished up, and it is probable that a platter will be presented to go with it, in order to provide space for the names of the winning classes up to the present time, in a complete record.
