The announcement made by the Shooting Club this morning is one which should meet with a hearty response from every capable man, as this series of contests is being held in order to bring out and develop good material for the team to compete in the next intercollegiate match. Princeton, having won twice, only needs to win once more in order to secure permanent possession of the trophy offered by "Forest and Stream." Harvard and Yale have won one match each, and if the former wins this year there will be a very fair chance of securing permanent possession of the trophy. Accordingly it is very necessary that every effort be made to win this year's shoot; all those who have had any previous experience in shooting should come out at once for the team, especially as the Princeton men have now been at work for several weeks.
