On Saturday afternoon the Harvard Golf Club was defeated by the Agawan Hunt Club team at the latter's course in Providence by the score of 14-4. The poor showing was in part due to the fact that several of the men were not up to their usual form, and that some of the best men were unable to play. The make-up of the teams was as follows:
