The great improvement and consequent success of the University and Freshman teams on Saturday entitles them both to sincere congratulation. While the Freshman game was relatively the more important, both nines showed their best form of the season thus far, and seem to be steadily improving. This is especially encouraging in the case of the 'Varsity, which has been playing so poorly of late, and which is to meet Princeton next Saturday. The men on the team may be sure that their work is thoroughly appreciated.
As the season progresses the need of the college band is felt more and more. Not only would it come in well at the games, but it would be extremely useful in organizing the crowd in case of a celebration. Those who played in last year's band should certainly take some steps towards forming it this week.
