The ninety-eight nine which is to play Yale ninety-eight on Holmes Field next Friday is practising every day with the College nine and is playing very good ball. The men have been playing as much as possible in the position they will have in the game and the team play is getting into good shape. Hereafter they will practise together as a nine and by Friday ought to be ready for the game. The positions as at present determined upon will be: Cozzens p., Brown c., Foster 1b, Vincent 2b, Holt s. s., McVey 3b, Sterling l. f., Manning c. f., Davis (captain) r. f.,. Slade will be unable to catch owing to an injury to his hand.
