Lacrosse.

The Harvard lacrosse team was beaten at Brooklyn on Saturday by the team of the Crescent A. C. which recently won a majority of its games on a trip through England. The score was 10 to 2.

The playing of the Crescents was a beautiful exhibition, and the result of the game was never in doubt. Harvard was greatly handicapped by the loss of the regular goal-keeper, Sands, whose eyes gave out early in the Stevens game, on Friday. A new man who was entirely without experience in that position had to be put in Sand's place. In its attack, however, the Harvard team was much stronger. Beecher played, on the whole, the best game.

After the game the team was present at a banquet given to the Crescent team to celebrate its English trip.
