The practice yesterday, though somewhat hindered by the rain, was rather encorging. The men were wide awake and put plenty of life into their playing, particularly Chandler, who has improved greatly and appeared yesterday to be the best man in the infield. The errors made were probably due to the wet ball. The batting was good; the hits were few and hard. Dean received an injury to his ankle in the game with Virginia and did not engage in the practice yesterday except to bat, McVey taking his place at second. He will play in the Princeton game tomorrow, however.
