The Freshman Game.

The Freshman game with Tech. 1900 was stopped on account of the rain yesterday afternoon, at the beginning of the fourth inning. The score was 3-0 in Tech.'s favor.

The three runs were made in the third inning. The first man up got his base on an error, and was advanced to third by bunts of the next two men. The next batter knocked a long fly which the right fielder misjudged, and the three men scored.

The Freshmen were playing a very listless game in the field, and, although everyone was hitting the ball, only one base hit was made. One chance for a put out was lost owing to a misunderstanding between the third baseman and the shortstop.

Loughlin, who played his first game with the Freshmen yesterday, has gone to their training table. Cutting will not be with the team again until Friday, as he is practicing for the intercollegiate golf tournament.
